Betti Mucha
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Betti has been with the center since September 2004. She began her career as the Administrative Assistant. On September 1, 2007, Betti began serving as the Interim Executive Director. She was hired as the Executive Director on November 21, 2007. Betti has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management. She is also a back up forensic interviewer for the center. Betti was trained as a forensic interviewer in 2009, and was the only forensic interviewer at the CAC until 2017. She has conducted over 590 forensic interviews at the CAC.

Sara Rezba
CHILD ADVOCATE
Sara has been with the center since October of 2007. She began as the Administrative Assistant. Sara was hired as the child advocate on June 14, 2010. She has an Associate’s Degree in Arts and Science. She has six years of experience working with abused and neglected children prior to coming to the CAC. Along with being a Child Advocate, Sara goes into the local schools and teaches the Second Step Personal Safety Program to the students. This is a program that talks about touching safety on a child’s level.

Whitney Melton
Forensic Interviewer/MDT Coordinator
Whitney was hired at the center as Forensic Interviewer/ MDT Coordinator in August of 2017. She has 7 years experience working with children prior to coming to the CAC. Whitney has her Bachelor’s Degree in Arts from McKendree. She was trained as a forensic interviewer through the ChildFirst Protocol in October of 2017, and has conducted over 420 forensic interviews.

Kimmie Helton
Secretary
Kimmie has been at the center as Secretary since July of 2016. She has 12 years of experience working with children prior to coming to the CAC.
